Week 9 Parent - Teacher Conference

Dear Parents,

It will be an honor to see you all tomorrow, Saturday, April 12, during the "Parent-Teacher" conference to discuss your child's progress in 6th grade. This semester, we are also focusing on "Literary Elements" to help students improve their overall ability to create complete and solid essays. Please don't forget to check and sign the English exams so that students may return them to us by Monday, April 14, at the latest!

This week, we completed the following:

  • Journeys: Lesson 22, Amelia Earhart

  • Grammar Unit 14: Infinitive, -ing form, Too / Enough (halfway)

  • Science Unit 23: Sound

  • Math Ch. 12 Unit 1 1.1-1.5: Percentage

  • Literary Elements: "Mood & Tone"

  • Novels: "Out of My Mind" & "Matilda"

Dear Parents, This week, we completed the following: Journeys : Lesson 28 – Jay's Butterflies Grammar : Unit 17 – Question Words Science : Unit 26 – The Movements of Planets in the Solar System Math : Chapter 16 – Units 1 & 2.2 Novel : Out of My Mind / Matilda Today, students took the Lesson 28 Spelling, Vocabulary, and Grammar (Units 16–17) tests.
